It's the start of a new year and I can't think of a better, happier way to start off a new year on the blog. It's the final shawl in Sock-Yarn Shawls II. It's Sunburst.
Another garter stitch and lace combo. Squee! And this one has stripes - even better! This shawl is a crescenty/ half-circle (sort of depends on how you block it). You can wear it so many different ways. Here is how I've been wearing this one. Start with your lovely shawl:
Put it on from the front, bring the ends around back and then to the front again:
Then take one end and slip it through the hole where your head is.
Then I tie the two ends in a loose knot (I'm kinda obsessed with tying my shawls in loose knots these days).
Wear shawl everywhere and get many compliments on your knitting abilities. :)
Thank you so much for following along in my Sock-Yarn Shawls II blog series. Release day is almost here. I can't wait for everyone to have a copy of the book in their hands so we can get knitting! :)
