The Addicting Afghan

A couple weeks ago I decided that my mom needs an afghan. Like I always do, I went to Ravelry to try to find a crochet blanket pattern. One that didn't seem too hard. I found the Juicy Fruits and Whipped Cream throw from Red Heart and it seemed like a good fit. 4 row repeat, easy, and addictive!

I'm maybe about 2.5 feet in right now. I am IN LOVE with it.

My mom's favorite colors are orange and yellow, so I knew I had to include at least one of those colors. Her comfy chair is a kind of a forest green, and I think this color combo will work with it. I am using Red Heart Soft for my blanket.

I continue to stitch away on it each night. I'm hoping I can have it done for Mother's Day!
